Why I Write Here

I got tired of writing on platforms that wanted to own my words. Every newsletter service, every social network, every content platform has its own idea of what your writing should look like, who should see it, and how they should pay to read it.

So I built this. It's a plain page. There's no algorithm, no subscribe popup, no paywall, no comments section, no tracking. Just essays.

The design is intentionally old. When I started reading things online in the late 90s, pages loaded instantly and everything felt like it was written by a person. I want that back.

If you want to be notified when I write something new, the RSS feed works. Otherwise, just come back sometimes.
